I call this collage Saint of the Breadloaf, but I don't know why I used the picture of bread in the first place. I think it's something Biblical, though, like "loaves and fishes," or "casting bread upon the water." (I'm not even sure what that means.) Sometimes I understand where my images came from and sometimes I don't. I made this one September 19, 1979, while living on Durango Avenue in Los Angeles.
