The Wood Shed

It was behind Grandma's house, and the whole thing wasn't really for storing wood. It was a big shed with a corrugated aluminum roof and one side open. Wood was stored there, but so were old doors and other architectural pieces that came out of the house when they remodelled it. There were a lot of old lanterns there, too, with no glass in them, and long poles with canvas bags on the end for picking avocados off the tall branches. It was always dusty, and it smelled good.
