A building on Durango Avenue

A building on Durango Avenue near Venice Boulevard in Culver City, California. A storm was coming in, and I liked the strange monochrome and the flatness of the building. The slide was processed in November, 1979.


Glass bricks

We found these glass bricks on the property of the house we rented on Durango Avenue in Culver City. I propped them on a shed in back of the house. The colors and the contrast between the shiny glass and peeling paint caught my attention.


Chains on posts

There isn't much to say about this one except that it was taken somewhere in the Los Angeles area in 1979. I like the way this looks, with the subject matter limited to the chains and posts.
