The two photos on the left are the Arc de Triomphe the way we never saw it. We emerged from the Metro at dusk, Marco took these shots, and something in the exposure created the lighting effect. The third one, of course was taken from the top. This view is looking down the Champs Elysee toward the Louvre. About halfway to the Louvre, you can see a lighted ferris wheel, still up from the celebrations of New Year's, 2000. These three photos were taken about mid January.
These two were taken by Sheryl in the fall of 1975. If you want to read the names on the monument, click through for a bigger image. I left the two pictures above larger than the others (longer loading time) so they could be read.
