Subject: research study about tapir skin

Dear Ms Sheryl Todd or anyone concerned,

I just found your Tapir Talk site when I search for Information about
Tapir, I was so surprised that so many toppics about this animal.

What I want to know is that :

1. Is there any place or anyway I can borrow or purchase a small piece
of real Tapir skin ?

2. I want to study the pattern / the figure of the Tapir skin
underneath their hair, my understanding is that they have some very 
unique pattern on their skin.

    I want to compare : The different skin pattern between the young (
with figure on hair) and the grow up ( just with black and white hair).

     The different skin pattern among different 4 spicies of Tapir.

3. If the skin is not available to borrow or purchase, is there anyway I
can have the photo of the pattern of the above sample ?

Please advise.

P.S. I do not need a big piece of sample, may be less than 1 sqf each will be 
enough to study, again, if the sample is valuable, I can return it to the
sender later,  but I think I have to shave a portion of the hair to look
for those figure on the skin.
