I would like to know what is the northern distribution of the andean tapir
(Tapirus pinchaque). I was reading a document published by
IUCN/Conservation Breeding Specialist Group and San Diego Zoo about
Tapirs. I read various data with error in distribution for the Tapir. For
example, Tapirus pinchaque and the Tapirus bairdii are reported for
Venezuela. This information isnīt really good, beacuse thats species donīt
lives in Venezuela.

Is incredible to found error in a document produced by specialist. In the
Bibliographic list donīt is include references from Craig Downer, the best
researcher of the andean Tapir.

I would like to knows opinions about this type of tool produced by CBSG.
Money, time and knowledge for errors!...

I will be in touch.
