I'd like to know if anybody has experience on dentistry of Tapirs.
I have one that is with dental abcess (one incisive) and I hope to
anestesiate this animal monday to take one RX and decide what to do.
It would be good if I have informations on other experiences.

Hi Maria,

You might want to contact Darren Collins, DVM at Woodland Park Zoo,
Seattle, Washington. (206) 684-4865

Darren assisted when Spike, a male Brazilian tapir, had a root canal
done several years ago. A local human dentist was brought in to do
the dentistry.
