This is tapir researcher Stefan Seitz washing a tapir at the Heidelberg Zoo. Having studied these animals, he was allowed by the staff to take part in what seems to be one of the finer moments of the tapir's day. Stefan is wearing his "Living in Harmony on Plaet Earth" Tapir Preservation Fund t-shirt, which was pronounced by the zoo director to be "chic"! Stefan's study has recently been published in German:
