Tapir at the Bronx Zoo


Asian tapir at the Bronx Zoo

Wendy Skriver sent us this photo of a tapir at the Bronx Zoo. It was take about Christmas time, 1999. They had created the outlines of a number of animals with lights and put them around the zoo. One of the photos Wendy sent shows a zebra and a rhino, but apparently there was no tapir!


All tapirs are endangered species.
Saving tapirs helps save the rainforest.
