As of 1997, Brook was one of three Baird's tapirs at the Kanazawa Zoo in Yokohama, Japan. She was born May 26, 1983, at the San Diego Zoo in California, USA. She's the daughter of Mona and Titus. She was transferred to Japan on May 25, 1988, along with her mate, Colombo. These photos were sent by Dr. Michiru Tamura.
