These 3-D (three dimensional) puzzle animals are some of the more detailed we have seen, making them an interesting replica as well as a fun toy for grown-ups and children above the age of 3. The 9 pieces are cleverly fitted, flexible, and not too difficult to assemble. This orca puzzle measures 3 5/8 inches long from nose to tail and 1 5/8 high to the tip of the dorsal fin. See our other 3-D Puzzle animals here. Be sure to look over our other orca toys and gifts.

The orca is a toothed whale and the largest member of the dolphin family, growing up to 33 feet long and weighing up to 12,000 pounds. It has mostly black skin with distinctive white patches. The male has a taller and more upright dorsal fin than the female. These cetaceans live their entire lives in small, close-knit family groups, called pods, of 6-40 whales. Males can live up to 60 years, females up to 90.
