This lobster is made of soft plastic. It's slightly squeezable, and it floats. Out of water it squeaks, and when filled with water it squirts. The 8 1/2-inch length is measured from the curved feelers to the end of its tail. If you want a plastic lobster that looks alive rather than cooked, this is the lobster for you!
