For more than 100 years, North America's largest woodpecker was thought to be extinct. In 2005, scientists broke the news that the bird had been seen again. The coloration is striking. We had a small part in re-creating the ivory-billed woodpecker in this souvenir replica. An entrepreneur from Arkansas contacted us to see if we had such a replica or could find one. Since we didn't have one available, we found the artists who could make them, and we put the two in touch. The result was this lovely, realistic, inexpensive plastic bird. You can buy it from our web site, or if you have a store or souvenir shop, let us know if you need quantity prices. You can read more about the rediscovery of the ivory-billed woodpecker by clicking on the link. Be sure to see our other bird toys, replicas, and gifts.
