Leopards (Panthera pardus) occupy a wide range of habitats and have the most extensive distribution of any of the wild species of cat; occurring throughout much of Africa and Asia. Typically the coat is pale tan and marked with "rosettes" - broken circles of black spots. The smallest of the great cats (jaguar, tiger, lion, leopard), the leopard is an agile climber and will often stalk monkeys in the trees, or it will lie in wait on a limb for some terrestrial animal to pass by. It hunts mainly at night. The name leopard is also given to other species resembling the true leopard, such as the clouded leopard (Neofilis nebulosa) of southeastern Asia, with cloudlike markings on its grayish to yellowish coat, and the snow leopard (Uncia uncia) of Central Asia. The cheetah is sometimes called the hunting leopard.

This plastic leopard is two inches long. It is solid rather than hollow. This plastic big cat is great for school projects, toys, novelties, animal collections, party favors and more. Our plastic leopard is for decoration or play only. You can make an interesting African or Asian shoebox diorama using this and other plastic creatures from our gift shop. Best of all, there is no mess, no feeding, and no tank or cage cleaning :) Come see our wonderful assortment of leopard toys and gifts.
