This nicely detailed plastic sloth has the face and coloring of a two-toed sloth (Choloepus didactylus), although each foot has three toes on it. A real two-toed sloth (genus Bradypus) has two toes on each front foot and three on each hind foot. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica, in the three-toed sloth, "all four feet have three long, curved sharp claws."
