Our Picasso Triggerfish Pin

This unusual tropical fish pin depicts a Picasso triggerfish from Hawaii. The pin is cast in pewter, then hand painted in the USA. It has two stick pins on the back with pinch clasps. This keeps the pin in the position you want it so it does't twist once it's in place. The details and colors are amazing and beautiful. It's really a piece of wearable art! About Picasso Triggerfish

Picasso triggerfish (Rhinecanthus aculeatus) may look like the clowns of the ocean, they are "painted" in such striking colors with such beautiful markings! The Hawaiian name is Humuhumunukunukuapua'a or just humuhumu for short. The name means, "triggerfish with a snout like a pig," according to Wikipedia. Humu humu triggerfish are incredibly beautiful tropical fish, and can be found easily by snorkelers in the shallow reefs of the Hawaiian Islands.
