Our Plastic Wombat
Our wombat toy animal is made of solid plastic and measures 2 inches from nose to tail. Its name is molded into the underside. This plastic animal toy is great for school projects, toys, novelties, animal collections, party favors and more. Our plastic marsupial is for decoration or play only. You can make a marvelous Australian animals shoebox diorama using this and other plastic creatures from our gift shop. Best of all, there is no mess, no feeding, and no tank or cage cleaning :)
About Wombats
Wombats are interesting marsupials found in forested and mountanious parts of southeastern Australia and in Tasmania. They are a little over three feet long and dig extensive burrows with their front teeth and claws. Mombats have a backward facing pouch to keep dirt from disturbing their young. Wombats are herbivores and their diet consists mostly of grasses, sedges, herbs, bark and roots. Tasmanian devils and dingos prey on wombats. A wombat can defend itself only by fleeing into a burrow and then kicking the attacker in the face with its powerful hind legs.
And here is a very cool wombat site.
