Made of light-weight hollow plastic, this gorilla action figure has movable head, arms, and legs (the head moves forward and back). It is sturdy, but because the pieces could possibly come loose, this toy is NOT recommended for very small children. It is great for school projects, dioramas, as a toy for older kids or grown-ups, party favors, collectibles, etc. It measures 4 inches from head to foot while standing upright.

Gorillas can exceed heights of six feet and can weigh over five hundred pounds, making them the largest and most powerful of the great apes. They feed on a variety of plants including bamboo, nettles, leaves and fruit. They live in equatorial Africa and are extremely endangered. As of 2004, approximately 700 mountain gorillas and 97,000 lowland gorillas are left in the world. Their existence continues to be threatened as increasing human populations continue to decrease the gorillas' habitats.
