Our Plastic Frilled Lizard
This engaging, realistic-looking plastic frilled lizard miniature is made of somewhat flexible plastic. This replica has a detailed face and body and is painted olive green with a pink mouth. About Frilled Lizards
The frilled lizard (Chlamydosaurus kingii) has a large ruff of skin around its neck. The neck frill is supported by long spines of cartilage, and when the lizard is frightened, it opens its mouth showing a bright pink or yellow lining, and the frill flares out, displaying bright orange and red scales. It often walks on all four legs, but when frightened can run on its hind legs. Frilled lizards are found in Australia and New Guinea in savannah woodlands where they eat small insects, especially grasshoppers.
