Made in China, this capybara (Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris) measures 4 1/2 inches from nose to back leg, stands 2 1/2 inches high and has a wealth of lifelike detail. OK, the eyes are orange, but that's less visible in person than in this large photo. You capy fans will already know how hard it is to find *any* capybara item, much less one with the right eye color and detail! This replica even has four slightly webbed toes on each front foot and three on each hind foot - like real capybaras - and small claws, too. It has great nostrils, lips and ears, and a small capybara tail. Its name is moulded into the underside. The capybara is the largest rodent on earth, and lives in swampy areas of South America.

This sturdy, light-weight hollow plastic rodent is great for school projects, toys, novelties, animal collections, party favors and more. Our plastic capybara is for decoration or play only. You can make an outstanding South American shoebox diorama using this and other plastic creatures from our gift shop. Best of all, there is no mess, no feeding, and no tank or cage cleaning :) Be sure to look over our other capybara toys and gifts.
