Mona, a Baird's Tapir
Sheryl with Mona.
Even at the age of a month, the lack of a crest on the nape of her neck, and the presence of a quantity of white or cream on her chest help to indicate that this little one is a Baird's tapir. The stripe-and-spot pattern is also distinctive, but that can be seen better in another photo.
