I am the curator of Parque Historico Guayaquil, Ecuador. please look us at our home page, and will be very good to start our participation in your group. We have two tapirus terrestris males. One two years old in good condition and the other is 14 months old with ulcers problems in his feet for a long time.
A friend of us, Maria de los Angeles Valencia (veterinarian) and Nancy Hilgert (ecologist) give me your e-mail.
Thank you very much for the information of many of your members, through Sheryl Todd. The sick tapir is still suffering the ulcer problems. We just take some tissue samples. We have change the food for a better one and no more ketoconazol for two weeks. _Does milk inhibit action of this drug?. We will start soon a new treatment for him.We have also change the hard concrete surface for a soft one.
Any way he is eating well and we will wait for the tissue samples analisis.
Let me hear please any sugestion for "Abandonado".
