Dear Tapir Talkers,
Sonia Foerster needs to know what to call male and female tapirs for a scientific paper. We talked about it on Tapir Talk once, and I don't remember that we came up with anything definitive. I think "bull" and "cow" were the closest, but can anyone verify that or give a better answer? How many of us really use those terms? Don't we usually just say "male" and "female"?
